I came in for a fill-in and my tech was Yo Yo - the same tech I had last time. Last time she didn't even do a good job and I had to come back earlier than usual to get them redone, and they gave me her again this time. This time she did a better job on the actual nails, but the pricing issue was unacceptable. I picked my color and sat down. Yo Yo started and said my nails were too weak for a fill and she needed to cut them off and put tips on. I didn't understand how she said it at first, so the girl next to her and the boss both came over and explained. I asked how much more it would be and they both clearly told me $70 including the shape, because I did mention how long I wanted my nails. When I came in my nails were grown out and I showed them the empty space between the polish and my skin and said that's how much I want cut off, and they understood. I said okay. About 20 minutes in, she tells me it's $75 because my nails are too long, unless I want to cut them shorter for $70. I told her that makes no sense - you and your boss already confirmed $70 when I came in, including the length and shape I wanted. Don't quote me a price and then change it after you started. After 2.5 years of loyalty, this is how you treat a regular? I'm done.
